Q. Charley Harper Earlier Collections..book ?
07/21/04
A. Hello Ann-Marie,

Charley Harper has had two books published. The first, "Birds & Words" is a small hardback book that contained fifty-one of his silkscreens that were produced as covers for "Ford Times" magazine, mostly from the 1960's. (This book is out of print.)

Flower Valley Press has since published Beguiled by the Wild, a coffee table book with 132 pages of his most famous serigraphs. We have this available online and in stock.

Regards,

John Ranes

Q. I have several Charles Harper prints that I would like to sell. Could you give me the current value of them, and do you buy prints? These are from 1973 to 1980. I can give you a list of them if you can help me. Thanks a lot.

Q. I recently purchsed an encore edition of Charles Peterson's "The Carolers." However, Peterson neglected to sign his name in the lower right-hand corner (the edition numbers and title are there). Does this lower the value of my print?

Q. how do you frame metals that have ribbons long enough to go around your neck?

Q. I have an authentic silk Korean dress from about 1910 that I would like to preserve and display by framing. How much would this cost and what additional protections are available against UV? The dress has 2 pcs and is about 50" tall.
