This natural finished nutcracker depicts the well-known craft 
from the Black Forest region of Baden-Württemberg.  A 
neighboring state of Bavaria, it is in this mountainous region 
where cuckoo and chalet clocks were first created.

Attention to detail is a trade mark of every Ulbricht 
nutcracker that originated with Otto Ulbricht in the 
Erzgebirge in 1928.  A glazed finish reveals rich wood tones 
in this nutcracker, reflecting the origins of it's hand crafted 
beginnings.
