including this Douglas C-47 Skytrain transport from World War 
II.  

A military variation of the Douglas DC-3, it was named by the 
British as the Douglas Dakota, it was considered by many the 
greatest airplane of its time revolutionizing aircraft 
transport design.

This aircraft famously flew during the Normandy Invasion.
